I am that happy middle ground between processed/sugary and no-fruits-allowed. I freaking love smoothies. For breakfast. Snacks. Lunch. Dessert… They’re just so darn good all the time!

Here’s my top 5 easy recipes.

Pina colada
Blend 1/2 cup fresh chopped pineapple, 1/4 cup fresh chopped papaya and one banana with 1 cup coconut milk. No need to add any sugar. Pineapple and papaya are excellent for digestion!

Chocolate almond
Blend 1 scoop chocolate protein powder with 1 Tbl almond butter, 1 banana, 1 tsp cocoa powder and 1 cup almond milk. It makes a tasty dessert!!

Green goddess
Fill the blender with baby spinach. Add 1 banana, 1/2 cup strawberry. Blend with 1 cup coconut milk.
Get those greens in!

Mango mania
Blend 1/2 fresh chopped mango, 1 banana, 1 cup coconut milk. Mango helps keep you regular:)

"Berry yummy"
Blend 1/2 cup strawberries, 1/4 cup raspberries, 1/4 blueberries, 1 banana and 1 cup cashew milk.
Use frozen berries to add some density to your shake!

If you don’t already have one, invest in a Ninja. I received mine as a gift several years ago. It comes with two personal smoothie cups, one large blender bowl, and one huge blender container. Three different blades. Four different blend settings.

I make individual cups of smoothies, soups, meatloaf, burgers, chop vegetables… It comes in quite handy. You can even make bread dough in it!
