Bedtime checklist

Turn off electronics. Dim the lights around the house, maybe light a candle, and turn off all the electronics.

Wash and moisturize. Whether you shower or just wash your face before bed, be sure and remove any unwanted dirt and grime with a gentle scrub. Moisturize while your skin is still warm and fresh.

Get comfortable! Put on your nightwear and a robe and begin to unwind.

Sip on a soothing tea. Chamomile helps relax, Sleepytime tea helps promote sleep, and peppermint is soothing to the stomach. Tea also warms you from the inside, making you feel cozy!

Read something positive. Edify you mind with something positive, inspirational, encouraging, or educational. Reach for your Bible if you’re in need of a good read. Journal what you founf uplifting or something you want to remember.

Stretch. Do some gentle yoga right before you lay down. Stretch your neck and shoulders out, practice some poses for relaxation.

Reflect on your blessings and what you’re thankful for. Name three things that you loved about today, two things you did well, and one thing you’re most thankful for today.
