Good morning! Are you ready to start your first day of the detox?
First thing, if you drink a hot beverage it needs to be tea. Ditch the caffeine and creamers this morning. Opt for a good detox tea or green tea.
I fast intermittent, so no breakfast for me! If you need breakfast, blend up a detox smoothie. It’s loaded in nutrients to fuel you all morning!
- 1 T chia seeds
- 1 T hemp seeds
- 1/2 C Berries (blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries… frozen works best)
- Squirt of lemon juice
- 1 cup coconut milk
Be sure and stay hydrated any time you consume chia seeds!
For snacks today, munch on celery and cucumber slices. There is no limit to the amount of vegetables you eat, so load up! Also be sure to hydrate extra well over the next three days.
For lunch, top a garden salad with grilled chicken. Use 4oz of chicken breast and grill with a small sprinkle of hymalayan salt and cracked black pepper. Mix Romaine lettuce with 1/3 of an avocado and cherry tomatoes. Top with an olive oil and lemon juice dressing.
Sip ginger tea to help soothe your stomach and aid in digestion between meals.
Make a dinner of grilled salmon and squash with broccoli. Keep your salmon portion between 4-6oz.
If you feel hungry between meals, sip on a cup of warm bone broth. It is high in protein and the collagen is amazing for your hair, skin and gut!
