1. Vitamin D
Vitamin D helps you to make hormones. If you’re deficient (like most of us our) it can lead to a drop in hormones or hormonal imbalance.
2. Healthy Fats and Omegas
Your Vitamin D is fat soluble, and so incorporating healthy fats into your diet is imperative! You also need to maintain a healthy weight (that means NOT too skinny!)
Supplement with magnesium if you’re taking Vitamin D as it will pull magnesium from your body, and we’re often already deficient in magnesium! Also it eases PMS symptoms and cramps.
4. Evening Primrose Oil
Take a healthy dose of EPO from the start of menstruation until ovulation. It helps with PMS symptoms!
5. Vitamin B complex
B Vitamins have many different benefits. One huge benefit is increased energy, mood boosting, and craving buster during PMS. Start taking your B complex one week before your period and keep taking it until your period ends.
